    The Magnum Plus MagRobust Cable Lock, 185cmx20mm is lighter and easier to handle than chain locks! But never fear, although its lightweight, this cable lock still provides the extra protection of a heavy-duty twisted steel cable combined with the X2P Double-Bolt locking mechanism. The cable is vinyl coated to protect paint and finishes against scratches!

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too heavy for bike I was shocked to receive a huge heavy bike lock through the post as it was listed as suitable for bicycles. If I tried to use this I would be unable to keep my bike upright. Clearly only suitable for motorbikes! Haven't had time to return it so am stiluck with it!!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Magrobust cable lock Excellent. My bike has quick release everything I can lock the whole bike in one go rather than messing around with two different locks. When I've finished it roles up nicely and goes straight in the rucksack. Much happier leaving the bike outside now when I'm out and about rather than always looking over my shoulder wondering if it's still there.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very sturdy I had to go to centre parcs and was worried about taking my expensive bikes. This is very thick robust lock with plenty, of keys. Certainly a big visual deterrent and I wanted it long enough to lock up 3 bikes which it easily did Very pleased

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy bike lock This flexible security cable is exactly as described in respect of length, thickness and flexibility. It appears to be very robust and easy to use. I use it in my workshop, which is full of tools, to lock two heavy duty chain-locked bikes together, ie belt and braces. But of course I hope that it never gets put to the test! I think the cable is very suitable for this purpose but size and weight mean that it would be impractical to use it as a portable lock.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I needed I bought this for my small folding bike at an online offer price of £39.99 (£49.99 in the shop). At 185cm I hoped it would go through both wheels and the frame as well as reaching an immovable object. It wouldn't do this because despite being slim it's very stiff and rather hard to use. If I left one wheel out the cable was too long and might be a tripping hazard. The cover on the illuminated key was loose but otherwise the quality seemed good. The key cannot be removed while the lock is open. It doesn't come with a frame attachment so you need to work out where you will store the 1880g weight. It's Sold Secure Bronze and the lock can be registered. At £39.99 this might be just right for some users, but unfortunately not for me. Halfords accepted it back with no problems.
