Wiggins Pau Balance Bike is rated out of 5 by 8.Rated 5 out of 5 by Gramps007 from Grandsons First Bike Having spoken to a couple of parents with children of a similar age to our grandson, who already owned one of these bikes, we decided to buy our grandson one for his second birthday. We have not been disappointed. We would thoroughly recommend this bike to any interested parent or grandparent.Date published: 2017-09-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Juu1 from Wiggins Pau Balance bike Halfords best kept secret. This cycle is in a league of its own, I evaluated the balance bike market to purchase for my Grandson. Wiggins Pau balance bike, light, stylish , easy to ride and handle, also enabling a 3 year old to use a brake . Giving the rider confidence and excellent preparation for next move onto pedal bike..... Perhaps that should be the next innovation for "Wiggins Pau", Give the customer option to add-on crank and chain for next steps in cycling skills,Date published: 2017-08-31Rated 5 out of 5 by SiEng from Great balance bike! After our 3 year old out grew her first balance bike we bought a cheap larger balance bike. This cheaper bike however caused her to get sore after a while. So we decided to buy this one for the padded seat. This bike is really well made! The wheel base is wise, perfect for support. The tire treads are deep, great for off roading. The bike itself is light, good for slight inclines. The hand break is a good size for her small hands. The seat is by far the most comfortable out of all the competition we looked at. She hasn't complained of pain since, even after riding it for several hours. The only negative is the handle under the seat, it isn't well placed causing the bike to tilt forward when holding it. But this is only very minor and has no bearing on how the bike performs. Yes, it's dearer than most for a balance bike, but this is reflected in the build quality.Date published: 2017-08-20Rated 1 out of 5 by lolanic from too big Bike is far to big for my 2 and half year old he still can't reach the floor from the smallest height. Maybe will be able to when he's 3 but am hoping he'll be using a proper bike by then. Heavy bike for him to push around also. Definitely not worth the money wish I'd gone for a cheaper smaller lighter bike as this was just a waste and halfords don't do exchanges and have not being helpful at all as they don't care once you have taken it away.Date published: 2017-08-14Rated 5 out of 5 by BalancingbikeDublin from BRilliant balancing bike I got this for my daughter and it is really, really good. The wheels are sturdy and the break easy to use and she loves it --and has made amazing progress in very little time. We get comments from people every time we use it about how nice looking it is and that my daughter might be the next Bradley Wiggins. Most importantly she wants to use it all the time-which even surprised me as she was crying in Halfords because I wouldn't buy her girlie bike... (SHe already has a girlie bike with stabilisers that she kept falling over on if the surface has any slope and the reason we chose this bike-and in fact slopes on pavements have not been a problem with the Wiggins bike). Only negative is that the saddle handle for parents is uncomfortable to hold; it's plastic and not a good grip I would suggest redesigning it or getting rid of it. Also the bike feels heavier than I had expected but her previous balancing bike was the lightest on the market and the performance of this overrides the weight issue. Final issue was that Halfords had a five day waiting list to assemble it which was rather poor service so we did the assembling ourselves and in the end it was not too hard.Date published: 2017-07-08Rated 5 out of 5 by JonnoTW from Wiggins Pau balance bike Fantastic balance bike, we choose this for our 2 1/2 yr old little man based on it being lighter than the rest in store. It is easier for him to handle and the added safety of a rear brake. Great productDate published: 2017-01-26Rated 5 out of 5 by JR1000 from Really well thought out balance bike I am really pleased with this bike. I bought it for my 2 and a half year old son (94cm) and he has really taken to it. The bike looks great, build quality is fantastic, the wheels roll really well and are big enough to make slightly bumpy terrain comfortable to ride. I was slightly concerned about the price but, after 5 days of riding, it has already paid itself back with joy.Date published: 2017-01-04Rated 5 out of 5 by DellaRainbow01 from The back tyre was flat........ but I put the bike together and when I pumped it up it turned out to have a puncture ......and when I asked on the 'phone for a new inner tube to change myself I was told that I'd have to dismantle the bike and return it....by post or to a local Halfords..........too boring and not green. I'll have to buy an inner tube. The bike looks and feels amazing! Halfords service less so!Date published: 2016-12-12
