Pendleton Somerby Electric Bike - White & Navy - 17", 19" Frames is rated out of 5 by 47.Rated 3 out of 5 by Sillyolemoo from Smooth rider Second electric cycle I have purchased due to other one being stolen! I must say this one is a lot smoother to tide. Very comfortable after a few adjustments were made. The seT is very comfortable. My only problem is slipping forward, so had seT slightly tilted which has solved the problem. Easy step through frame. The pedals are robust and my feet don’t slip off whatever footwear worn. Cycle 100 miles a week to and from work on busy trunk roads, tyres are very sturdy. One can ride bike smoothly and effortlessly whether on busy roads or up hills. One needs to take into consideration how steep the hills are cps this will affect how much battery power is used. Would suggest keeping a spare battery charger( like I have done so, at work. Would recommend this bike to all agesDate published: 2017-12-04Rated 4 out of 5 by Gadgie from Great but Hard Saddle Changed the saddle and now a comfortable cycling experience! BUT! BUT! BUT! What happens when I have to ride the bike WITH THE BATTERY REMOVED (for whatever reason - defective, transporting in the rain etc) the battery terminals are EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS - rain snow??? Other eBike manufacturers have provision for a BATTERY TERMINAL PIN COVER!!! At the moment I rely on a sponge pushed over the exposed terminals then covered with a plastic bag, whilst I ride or transport the bikeDate published: 2017-10-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Sun123 from Great bike. Lots of fun Easy to ride. Bit of a rattle but overall fab. Makes hills so easyDate published: 2017-10-14Rated 5 out of 5 by iGodot from Brilliant ladies bike Pros: I'm a 14 stone woman and I barely notice the hills. Everyone should get an electric bike! I'm charging my bike around every 30 miles, which is more than they say, but again I'm not the lightest person and I have a lot of hills. Cons: The stand is useless, don't use it, the bike will fall over. Just prop it against a wall instead. I'm also not a fan of the leather handles. Mine are already showing wear after 2 weeks. The service by Halfords was excellent and they went above and beyond to get me kitted up.Date published: 2017-10-07Rated 5 out of 5 by moncherie from it's part of me I fell in live with this bike since the moment I saw it in Halfords! The performance did not disappoint me either. easy to ride comfortable to be on it! i bought it instead of stolen EBCO 10. it seems to me that EBCO was taking slightly quicker on the hill, on all other characteristics this one is better. and i think wheels are slightly bigger all that they show in the video is true. just do not expect it to be light as electric bikes cannot be it was build for me at Halfords Canterbury and the service by Lee was wonderful! thank youDate published: 2017-10-06Rated 5 out of 5 by AudreyO from Bike for the 50 year old! Firstly I would like to thank Brian in Halfords in Paisley for all his help and effort in buying this bike. What a pleasure to ride it ....being 50, never having ridden an ebike before and not the fittest of folk. Bike comfortable, effortless and looks fantastic. Bike was admired by neighbours and friends and even hubby has had a go. Manages hills with very little effort and I love the way I want to shout Whheeeeeeee as I go up hills.Date published: 2017-09-23Rated 4 out of 5 by Railrambler63 from Great Value Took it out on its first test ride and did 20 miles with 1100 feet of climbing and the assistance responded perfectly. Only complaint is the saddle. Was very uncomfortable and this has appeared in other reviews. Very pleased I purchased this bike so far. Would like the option of being able to purchase an additional battery for longer rides.Date published: 2017-09-15Rated 5 out of 5 by Mumsright from This product lives up to the reviews I purchased this bike to make the daily commute to work (8 miles each way). It lives up to the reviews and is very easy to ride. The battery only needs charging every other day which is very good considering the amount of hills I have to go up. I chose this e-bike for its battery life. The only thing I would change is the saddle. It's not as comfortable as the one on my regular bike, but I am loathe to change it as it looks good. How shallow am I? In this case very shallow and my rear will cope with the minor discomfort.Date published: 2017-09-13
