Boardman Hybrid Comp Womens Bike is rated out of 5 by 21.Rated 5 out of 5 by Lozboz22 from Great bike Love the bike in every way, so smooth. It's a pleasure to ride!Date published: 2017-10-12Rated 4 out of 5 by LondonCyclist15 from Mostly great, but some issues with the gears I bought this bike a couple of weeks ago for commuting. Since then I've ridden it a lot around London (my commute is 10 miles each way) and I've also taken it out for a ride in the country (around 30 miles). In general, I'm really pleased with it. It's light and fast but it can cope with poor road surfaces and still feels stable enough (I haven't tried it off road). I have to carry it up and down stairs at work and it's manageable, even with a mudguard and panniers and a heavy lock added on. Despite being fast, I find the riding position very comfortable and upright enough to give me good visibility in London traffic. Build quality seems good - I got knocked off by a car and the bike barely got a scratch. Only complaint is that I've had some problems with the gears - the chain falls off very easily when switching between front gears, and some of the back gears also rattle a bit. I think the issues with the front gears might have something to do with the fact but there are only two gears, but the shifter is designed for three gears. It's a real shame as otherwise this would be a perfect bike.Date published: 2017-08-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Gralaney from Great bike excellent value Fantastic value for money my wife's bike which is her first one.Date published: 2017-06-20Rated 5 out of 5 by Marta84 from great bike I got the bike for just over a week now and I'm very happy with my purchase. Bike isn't too havy, breaks are very efficient and shifters work really smooth. Bike was assembled well and securely delivered. Well recommedned.Date published: 2017-04-13Rated 4 out of 5 by Leigh29 from Great bike to ride Bought this bike today. Was dealing with a guy called Fletcher. He was so helpful. And so nice. Very happy with his services. Thank you Fletcher!Date published: 2017-04-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Maelha from Love this bike! Good value- bought it whilst on special offer. Much lighter than my previous one, and good gearing so easier to ride. Halfords staff said there was only one set of mudguards which fitted. These work really well. Bike came with pedals with toe clips I could hardly get my (narrow ) feet in them at rest, never mind when moving.Staff swapped them for meDate published: 2017-03-02Rated 4 out of 5 by Hev56 from Liked but had to change a few things This is a great looking bike but for me I have changed the handlebar stem for an adjustable one to get the handlebars higher, I have added a suspension seat post and changed the saddle as didn't find the stock items as comfortable as the one on my other bike. I do have a back problem so this is why I wanted to add a bit more comfort to the bike.Date published: 2017-02-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Janna17 from Worth the money This bike is built well and is light and easy to ride. The disc brakes are good. Not so great..(just small niggles) there are triple gear shifter for the double gears- at the moment I have to double shift from 3 to 1 in order to change gear..so it needs fine tuning. No one can seem to fit mud guards All in all though the bike is too good for these niggles to matter much and when it's serviced I'm sure it will be fine. All in all very happy with this purchase!Date published: 2016-10-12
