Boardman Hybrid Team Bike
The best of both worlds thanks to a flawless blend of MTB handling and braking power, with road bike speed and control; the Boardman Hybrid Team Bike is a simply superb hybrid bike that’s light, fast and stable in all conditions. The beautiful smooth welded triple butted X7 alloy frame is complemented perfectly with a full carbon fibre fork and tapered steerer for increased stiffness, steering response and vibration damping. Topped off with Shimano Tiagra gearing and powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes to ensure that you are always in control in any situation.

Great for commuting , longer rides and light off road work. Rides comfortably and is nippy when you want or need it to be, Only issue is the pedals but noted that from othr reviews so replaced them. I've had it a couple of weeks now and done some good miles. it feels like a quality bike and runs very smoothly and quietly. The finish on the frame looks amazing. The only downside so far is that the colour seems to be wearing a bit on the seat already, especially around the stitching but this is a very small niggle. I could not find anything that came close to it so just bought this one as a replacement. A couple of things to customise again like sticking 700x28C folding Rubino Tyres on rather than the standards which are a bit cheap and cheerful and for some reason on the 2017 version 700x32C on the same rims. I also stuck carbon handlebars on and a gel seat! Its a great ride that feels really sure footed with outstanding hydraulic disk brakes and silky smooth gear. I am not a MAMIL biker, just an average fat bloke that is enjoying cycling again and this bike has helped me really put the miles on the bike. I also use it for transport when away in my motorhome so its proven to be great value.Date published: 2017-05-14
