Carrera Crossfire 2 Womens Hybrid Bike is rated out of 5 by 35.Rated 5 out of 5 by Arps1 from Great bike, perfect for my needs I originally went in to test ride a Pendleton bike as i loved the look of it but when i spoke to the sales assistant he recommended a hybrid or mountain bike instead as he said the Pendleton bike wasn't suitable for the types of terrain that i would be cycling on. I was a little disheartened but very grateful for the advice as it was spot on!! I decided to go for this hybrid crossfire 2 and absolutely love it! It's smooth to ride and change gears, the seat is very comfortable, i have ridden the bike on a variety of surfaces (road/gravel/mud) no problems. The 6 week check fixed any minor issues and i am very happy. I bought my bike a full price (£320) and a week later it dropped by 20%, so i went back and asked if they could refund the difference and they did. Thank you to all that helped at the Guildford store. It's very smart and looks well made though I haven't fully put it through it's paces yet. The seat is quite comfortable but I did buy a gel cover for some extra protection just in case. Gears and brakes work well and glad to have these marked high and low and with numbers for the back gears so I don't forget which way round they are. It does not come with any wheel or chain guards which is fine for summer but might be a pain in winter. I would have appreciated a bit more of a briefing on everything, and a proper check on seat and handlebar height when I got it but I managed to work most things out. The handbook is very general though and could do with being a little bit more detailed/specific and relevant to the model it goes with.
