My last one was stolen earlier this year so we have been saving hard for a new one when this little beauty came along. I was put off at first as the seat looked really hard and uncomfortable but its lovely and probably one of the most comfortable seats I have ever had the pleasure of riding a bike on and I'm a big girl! It rides like a dream and is a lot faster and smoother than my last Carrera, I absolutely love riding this bike. If you are unsure about what bike to get, this one could be for you. I cycle all over and will use this bike for some charity rides next summer so can't wait to get back on the road! The only gripe I had at first was the frame size. I'm nearly 6 foot tall so prefer the bigger men's bike personally... If you are used to 21" plus frames like myself then that 1 inch drop really does notice as the handle bars are lower but after a few rides and tweaks it wasn't an issue. I wish I got this bike sooner! The Carrera Pava Hybrid was a great choice . Daniel looked after me very well and had the bike built including additional mudguards etc ready for me to collect. Everything appears to be working well but I will be asking to increase the handlebar height when I take it in for it’s 6 week check. Great value as well and I got an extra 10% off by bringing in my 25 year old bike to be recycled. Being light weight makes it easy to have and the ride is very swift making it easy to cycle to work, surprised myself when I cycled home in just under twenty minutes after I collected the bike from the store. The staff were very helpful and made it an easy transaction. Apparently they had left a voicemail for me?. I never heard it, but I was kinda made to feel like I'd done something wrong.. 25 minutes later the bike was wheeled out. I had to borrow a pump because the tyres were very soft.. really, I'm a bit disillusioned.. the assistant was very keen to sell me a service package, and was I little cold with me when I didn't.. no, I'll look after my own bike if this is indicative of halford service..Date published: 2017-10-09
