However it was a little overpriced for a Halfords branded bike, and as I built it myself, I discovered that it took a little more time to do this than have previous boxed bikes. I have a mountain bike and he wanted one "the same" with gears and suspension The Apollo Chaos fits the bill perfectly. Front supspension and six gears with twist grip operation so very easy to use. The bike appears well built and the quality of finish is excellent. It also seems to have plebe of extra length on the saddle and handlebar stems so he shouldn't grow out of it too quickly.
