Carrera Zelos Mens Road Bike
The Carrera Zelos Mens Road Bike has a lightweight alloy frame making it ideal for cycling quickly on roads with little effort. Its 14 speed Shimano gearing allows easy and efficient transitions between hills and flat roads and its Hi-tensile steel fork give additional strength and control while riding the roads. Braking is safe and effective with Tektro Caliper brakes and its strong 700c double-walled rims are topped off with Kenda tyres for effective riding on all terrains.

This being my first road bike, I was more than pleasantly surprised to find that the ride quality, build quality and brakes perform impressively. The bike is based on a race setup with 25mm tyres and a racey frame, looks fantastic and is easy to service. Being new to road biking we didn't know what to look for or expect from our first road bikes. Many friends are very keen on road biking and several have very expensive bikes costing several thousand pounds so we never expected to get something suitable for literally a couple of hundred. We are thrilled to bits with the Zelos and several much more knowledgeable friends have commented on the features we have got for such a low price. So far they have been brilliant on everything we have done including some steepish climbs which is what we really bought them for. They look great as well, I have had other cyclists tell me at traffic lights what a lovely bike I have! Only "issue" was that the ladies' version does not come big enough for me (5 foot 8) so we have both bought the men's version, identical his and hers bikes!
