Wiggins Chartres Junior Bike - 20"Beginning to find their own way on two wheels? The Wiggins Chartres Junior Bike has been specifically designed to make cycling easier as the rides start to get longer. Gears can be tricky to get to grips with, so the Chartres has been equipped with an easy-action Shimano trigger gear shifter for easy shifting, helping to build confidence. Alongside that is an ultra-lightweight double butted aluminium frame, aluminium fork, alloy brakes, and a fully sealed bottom bracket to make pedalling super smooth. If your youngster is of the more thrill-seeking type, more aggressive mountain bike tyres can easily be fitted, making this the perfect 'do anything' bike.

Wiggins Chartres Junior Bike - 20" is rated out of 5 by 27.Rated 3 out of 5 by Jim008 from Wiggins 20" Ok bike, not nearly as good as equivalent bikes, but cheaper, so I would recommend it given the price. Some components feel cheap, e.g. Brakes.Date published: 2017-09-17Rated 5 out of 5 by JohnM72 from Value for money I bought this bike for my Grandson aged 6 having previously considered the Frog range of bikes. However a large price rise made me look elsewhere and I'm pleased I did because the Wiggins range of bikes is really excellent both in terms of quality and price. The bike is light, well specified and my Grandson thoroughly enjoys riding it. A really good bike for £90 less than the equivalent Frog model. Lighter than others, can be upgraded to better components.Date published: 2017-08-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Oxfordmum from Excellent Lightweight Bike This bike is fantastic. So lightweight and easy to use. Our son loves this bike and we are so happy with it. We were originally looking at an Islabike but we are so happy we went for this instead. Buy it-you wont regret it.Date published: 2017-08-15Rated 5 out of 5 by Matt3917 from Fantastic Bike My 6 year old had out grown his Isla Bike and i needed to replace it. Having had such a good quality bike i wanted something comparable without the high cost. This is an excellent alternative. Good spec light and appears well built. Highly recommended.Date published: 2017-08-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Tw1nks from Wiggins Bike Purchased for our son who was turning 7, it is a great bike. Also very light which I think is a massive plus. Would recommendDate published: 2017-08-06Rated 5 out of 5 by Stevo2017 from Good learning bike My 6 year old son is again learning how to ride a bike. What makes this one easier to learn on is the lightness of the frame and the ease of braking. After a couple of trips to the park he is almost there!!Date published: 2017-07-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Sam73 from Fab junior bike My son is loving his Wiggins Chartres bike. He is small for his age and has been desperate for a proper junior bike rather than a kiddie bike. It is super lightweight and the gears have been a big hit. We're much faster on the school run now and it was worth the extra expense!Date published: 2017-06-15
