It does the basic Sat nav stuff. Compared to my last (Tom Tom) one which went faulty, it has no where near the number of options. That said, less could be better. It acquires Sats much quicker. On our first Motorway trip it warned about Mobile Camera Vans in the area, and there above us on a bridge WAS ONE.....PHEW! That alone gave it a gold star. Locally it mis-pronounces road names, which I cannot understand why. It paired to my phone easily and that means text messages can be played back, which when mobile is really useful. Not had any phone calls to see what it does with those. Doesn't want to work with voice control, using the App, but can't see any advantage in shouting at it anyway. The Traffic updates again are really useful. All in all I'm really pleased with it and like having it on the dash helping me out.Date published: 2017-07-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Welshman2017 from Growing in confidence I really wanted to avoid connecting a SatNav to my PC due to poor experiences previously, so the wi-fi connectivity was encouraging. It worked a treat and setup was painless, once I'd bought a power cable of course. Pity there wasn't one in the box. Establishing favourite locations was easier than I've experienced before, and the traffic notifications are helpful. They could be more specific about the location of the holdup rather than saying x miles ahead, and so far none of the delays have been as bad as forecast. I'm still experimenting with the various options available for changing routes so can't be definite at this point. It's helpful having a manual on the device, although still would have preferred a hard copy in the box. On the whole very satisfied so far.Date published: 2017-06-16
