How to Put Down a Pop Up Tent

A pop up tent is ideal for you if you want to pitch up quickly when you arrive on campsite, but if you haven't used one before, or are thinking of buying one, this guide will tell you how easy it is to put away. Of course, seeing it is far easier than following a set of instructions, so why not watch our video first, then use this guide as a reminder?

Step 1 - Open Doors
Open both the inner and outer doors
Step 2 - Take Points in Hand
Take the mid points of the lower loops together in one hand
Step 3 - Gather Loops
Use your other hand to pull up the mid points of the lower loops, so all four loops are gathered in your hand
Step 4 - Put Tent on End
Keep the four loops gathered in one hand and put the tent onto it's end, ensuring the elastic strap is located on the ground
Step 5 - Tuck in Loop
Press the tip of the upper loop towards the ground and tuck it upwards, inside the the new loop that is forming
Step 6 - Press Downwards
Keep pressing downwards with the top hand that has been holding the four loops together since the start. Why not watch this in our video?
Step 7 - Loosen Grip
As you press downwards new loops will form on either side. Loosen the grip of this hand and help these slide loops to fold over each other
Step 8 - Secure Folded Tent
Align the loops and secure the folded tent with the elastic strap
Step 9 - Place Tent Back in Bag
Replace the tent in the bag
