• What size alloy wheels do I need?

   

  

  You can check the size of your wheels in your vehicle handbook or Haynes manual or by checking your current tyres.

  The radius (R) of your tyre is imprinted in the rubber on the outer wall of your tyre; for example, 205/45R15 tyre would indicate you have a tyre with a radius of 15" on your car. If your tyre size is 15", the diameter of the alloy wheel you need will also be 15".

  For extra security, we can also fit a set of 4 locking wheel nuts for your alloys in-store for only £4.99. Pre-booking may be required for both these services - contact your local store. Fitting subject to vehicle inspection.

• How do I clean my alloy wheels?

   

  

  The best way to clean your alloy wheels is frequent washing with mildly soapy warm water (having hosed all the loose abrasive grit off first).

  Never use abrasive cleansers, electric buffers or wire wool pads on your alloy wheels. Halfords also stocks a variety of specialist alloy wheel cleaners, all designed to help make the job of cleaning your alloys that little bit easier.

• Do Halfords offer an alloy wheel refurb service?

   

  

  Yes

  Halfords can restore your alloy wheels to their original factory finish with our alloy wheels refurbishment service. Prices start from £65 per wheel and the refurbs are guaranteed for 3 years. Pre-booking may be required - contact your local store. Refurb subject to vehicle inspection.

  All of our alloy wheels online are sold only in sets of four.

  If you have a specific requirement for a smaller number of alloys, ask your local Halfords store to order them for you or visit our sister website www.ripspeed.com who will be able to supply you with individual alloy wheels.
