Fantastic light I have always loved cateye products, and this product does not disappoint, another fantastic product and gives off loads of rear light, i cant believe how bad the previous light i had before was until you see how bright this one is. The bracket is nice and simple and fitted with no problem. The only down side is the low battery life (25h on flashing) but i would rather been seen by people and have to change the batterys than get run over 08 February 2012
A good buy I bought the cat eye back bike light as it has a quick and easy way of attaching/removing from the bike. The LED's are bright and more than adequate to alert motorists to your your presence on the road. It's light, bright and easy to operate. Result. 16 January 2012
good rear light I brought this to replace my old Cat Eye LD600 which I'd cracked. Although old now, its still a good light if you want seen. Its reasonable bright and compact. I use mine most in flahing mode. Batteries last well. 04 January 2012
Cracking light This is a good, high visibility light made by a trusted company. In the real world this is very bright and visible, so much so I have it on almost all the time. Bought another for my child. 30 December 2011

At last a decent light I wanted a rear light which was large, bright and reliable. Having dumped a couple which were very unreliable, I was drawn to the Cat Eye. Large, very bright and, so far, reliable (just ridden through a heavy hailstorm - no water ingress) I'm sure that motorists have been giving me a much wider berth since I've had this light, even in daylight use. The only niggle is that there is no rack fitting supplied and Halfords don't stock them so I had to order from another supplier. 13 December 2011
Very bright From a distance you would think you were behind a motor bike,thats how bright this light is.It is very easy to change the flashing mode and easy to slide the light off its bracket.I purchased the light at the online price and picked it up in store,Its very simple to attach to your seat post, no messing about with screws.I'm going to see if this light lasts a good amount of time and then might buy a spare. 11 December 2011

I purchased 159262 Bike rack and 159395 Pannier Bag. I want to fit a decent rear light to my bike, will this fir the rack or bag, if not what do you recommend, I have a cat eye mounted on seat post but it is obscured by the bag, if there is a bracket for the cat eye then please advise

Answer: 
The Cateye light probably came with a clip to fit the light to a belt. I used that to hold the light, attaching the bracket securely to the bag by wrapping PVC tape around the bottom of the bracket to prevent it falling off. I then used a zip tie to secure the light to the bracket. If you no longer have the belt clip, Chain Reaction Cycles carry spares.

Unfortunately this light does not come with a clothes clip, although these can be ordered as a spare in store. Alternatively there are other lights within our range that use a clothes clip to attach to the bracket, using a clothing clip you can clip these onto the bag.
