The Halfords Chain Wear Checker helps you stay one step ahead of the game. It will accurately give you the lowdown on the state of your chain so that you know when it needs to be changed before it wears out altogether. A worn out chain can damage the bike sprockets and drivetrain and no one wants that.

If the measurement is close to 0.75 or slightly beyond it's time to change your chain, if it's significantly beyond you may need to replace the chain as well as the cassette and in some instances, the chainrings too.
