Stopping quickly is covered too, with durable, low-maintenance steel V-brakes offering consistent and controlled braking on descents.

Staying comfortable on even the bumpiest terrain is also made easy on the Apollo Jewel. To absorb the rocks and tree roots there’s front coil suspension, offering 80mm of travel to take most of the energy out of the front wheel (and therefore your arms!).
Climbing hills, skimming over bumps and maintaining traction on loose surfaces are all vitally important when it comes to mountain bike riding, so a set of 27.5 inch wheels and tyres to help riders to gain additional grip on challenging surfaces.
