Rated 5 out of 5 by Dazman999 from Paired with Zwift - fantastic Used this 5 times with Zwift and it's great. The turbo is very smooth, set up was straight forward. Took about 20 minutes. First one was broken, but was returned and swapped without issue. It was seized, the spindle wouldn't turn.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Wobsy from Great price of kit but loud I’ve had this for a month now and overall I’m impressed. It’s definitely not quiet but not as loud as a wheel on magnetic trainer, still a lot louder than my old wheel on fluid trainer. It’s very smooth and adds a new dimension to riding indoors, if you can put up with the washing-machine-on-a-spin-cycle noise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Patrick123 from Good trainer I bought this a couple of weeks ago. Used if 4 times now both with trainer road and the tacx app. Found te ERG mode really good. I used to use wattbikes on which I had to manually adjust the resistance. This is brill by comparison. I am pleased how real the gradient changes feel when using the simulation videos on the tacx app. Set up was easy although I had to buy a cassette and a ant+ on an extension to work with my laptop. Pleased I bought it. It will give my training a new lease of life. Used my British cycling 10% discount so made the cost more palatable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by phil dod from Tacx flux s Had 2 NOW, both had to be returned as after 2 weeks of LIGHT use (i'm talking 6hrs a week) noises from the motor side, trying the Tacx Flux S then if that fails, will try another brand, as for returning Halfords were Great.....

Tacx Flux S
The internal mechanics of the Tacx Flux S are redesigned to improve the power measurement. Because of this, the trainer is reliable, accurate and consistent and calculates your power accurately within 3%. This is key to keep track of your performance and progress.

The internal upgrade together with the heavy flywheel of 7 kg (15.4 lbs) improved the ride feel significantly. This direct drive trainer is designed to bring vibrations and noise levels to the absolute minimum, resulting in the most silent flywheel equipped bike trainer available.

It comes with ANT+ (FE-C) and Bluetooth smart technology, enabling you to connect to your favourite applications like the Tacx Desktop app and Zwift. The smart electronics of the FLUX S Smart also allow you to train stand alone, without any software connections. Using the Tacx Utility app you can easily update the firmware to the latest version, so you can always make use of the latest improvements and features.
