The live display shows time elapsed, distance and speed, and the data can be saved for transfer to your Garmin account. The device tells me everything that I want to know about my cycle rides.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent piece of kit I was concerned that I might regret buying such a basic GPS unit, but this is perfect for what I want. I find the Garmin connect software is very good for designing a course, and the 'breadcrumb' guidance gives me enough directions not to get lost. If I do take a wrong turning it alerts me to going off route. On rare occasions I get completely lost I can use my phone to see where I went wrong. I cycle mainly off-road and this has helped me find new routes. I just wanted basic directions and a good log of my cycle rides so I can see how much I have done and whether I can get up the hills any faster. It does all that. Very pleased.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garmin Edge 25 Bought this after a couple of failed Strava rides. Couldn’t believe how easy the Garmin Edge 25 was to use and how easy it was to upload my ride. The battery lasts at least three 2 1/2 hour rides. It might last longer but don’t want to chance it. Garmin connect is very easy to navigate and links to my Strava not a problem. Really impressed with this small and compact device. It does everything I want it today. Definitely recommend.

I have a heart rate monitor that I use with this and it works really well for training in heart rate zones. For general use of your speed and distance it is everything you want and you can save your rides. It is so easy to use and I would definitely recommend this cycling computer 100%.

The Garmin Edge 25 is exactly how I personally want from a bicycle GPS computer, simple but without the whistles and bells of the higher end models (your choice.) I love the small compact design, but as of yet to test how far of a ride before the battery will be too low to function as in a fairly decent ride just to see if it stands up to the rigours of the longer rides. The starting up of the computer is straight forward but read the instructions provided to gain the idea on how to prepare the computer before and after a ride (if you are new to this technology.) As Halfords states, "Garmin Edge 25 GPS Cycling Computer is perfect for tracking how far, how fast and where you ride." I am very happy with product as I am not a fan of scientific stats that are features on high end Garmins cycle computers. Coming from a cyclist who only wants to know how far and how fast I have pedalled, it is all I need as I have no desire to take my hobby seriously.
