Introduction
New to mountain biking? The Apollo Gradient is a great place to start. Whether you're trying out local trails or just riding for fun, it’s comfy, tough, and great value for money.
Apollo has a solid reputation for building quality bikes that don’t cost a fortune. The Gradient keeps that going with reliable components and an easy going design — perfect for building confidence on the trails.
Lightweight Frames
Nobody wants to drag around a heavy bike — that’s why the Apollo Gradient keeps things light with an aluminium frame.
It’s built to help you ride longer without feeling worn out. The sloping top tube also gives you a lower seat position for more control on downhill sections, but not so low that it’s uncomfortable when you’re heading back up.
Maintain Momentum
Climbing hills is way easier with the right gears — and the Apollo Gradient has 21 of them, thanks to a reliable Shimano setup. Gear changes are smooth and simple with the REVOSHIFT shifters, so you won’t deal with clunky changes or slipping chains when the trail gets steep.
When it’s time to head back down, the mechanical disc brakes give you steady stopping power, even on tricky descents. And with grippy 27.5 x 2.10" tyres and tough aluminium wheels, you’ll stay in control across bumps, rocks, and whatever else the trail throws at you.
Comfortable Rides
Rough trails can really wear you out — especially your arms, hands, and back on longer rides.
That’s why the Apollo Gradient is built with both front and rear suspension to take the edge off bumps, landings, and sharp turns. The front fork offers 60mm of travel to absorb the impact, helping you stay comfortable, in control, and ready to keep riding.
Aftercare
When you purchase a bike from Halfords, our support continues beyond the sale. We offer optional CycleCare plans for either 1 or 3 years, ensuring your bike remains in top condition with regular maintenance and expert care.
A CycleCare plan not only provides peace of mind but also gives you access to exclusive benefits, including significant savings on accessories, repairs, and servicing. With a one-time payment, you'll enjoy continuous support from our skilled team, helping you get the most out of your bike for years to come.
