Introduction
New to mountain biking? The Apollo Radar is a great place to start. Whether you're trying out local trails or just riding for fun, it’s comfy, tough, and great value for money.
Apollo has a solid reputation for building quality bikes that don’t cost a fortune. The Radar keeps that going with reliable components and an easy going design — perfect for building confidence on the trails.
Lightweight Frames
No one wants to lug around a heavy bike or worry about it breaking — that’s why the Apollo Radar uses a lightweight but tough aluminium and hi-tensile steel frame.
Riding rough trails can take a toll on your arms and hands, especially on longer rides but the Apollo Radar comes with front suspension to smooth out bumps, hard turns, and landings. With 60mm of travel, it helps soak up the shocks so you stay comfortable and in control.
Maintain Momentum
Tackling hills is a lot easier with the right gears — and the Apollo Radar gives you 18 to work with, using a reliable Shimano setup. The REVOSHIFT shifters make switching gears simple and smooth, so you won’t get stuck with clunky changes or a slipping chain.
And when you’re coming back down, the mechanical disc brake and V-brake combination gives you solid, reliable stopping power — even on wet or tricky trails. Grippy 27.5 x 2.10"" tyres and strong aluminium wheels help you stay in control over rocks, roots, and rough ground.
Comfortable Rides
The Apollo Radar features a rear shock, which means better comfort and control when you're riding over bumps, roots, or uneven ground.
The suspension helps absorb the impact, reducing strain on your body and making longer rides feel much easier — especially if you're just getting into mountain biking.
Aftercare
When you purchase a bike from Halfords, our support continues beyond the sale. We offer optional CycleCare plans for either 1 or 3 years, ensuring your bike remains in top condition with regular maintenance and expert care.
A CycleCare plan not only provides peace of mind but also gives you access to exclusive benefits, including significant savings on accessories, repairs, and servicing. With a one-time payment, you'll enjoy continuous support from our skilled team, helping you get the most out of your bike for years to come.
