Damaged Paint
These Carrera Hellcat models have sustained some paint damage (chipping through lacquer) to the down tube however, the bikes themselves are new and unused and this is purely transit damage.
The above images and description serve as an example, as these are individually damaged, specific bike damage cannot be photographed. The paint damage does not effect the overall quality or use of the product.
Warranty
All Halfords bikes come with a 12-month guarantee (from the date of purchase) and we’ll repair any manufacturing defects for free within that time period.
Areas that are not covered are if there is excessive wear and tear and where components fail due to misuse, a lack of servicing and / or a lack of care.
Peace of Mind
To give you even more riding time and not have you standing idle, peace of mind is provided with the Hellcat's 29er wheels with ‘Carrera Puncture Protection’ tyres as standard.
They’ll still have a tread pattern designed to cope with bumps, obstacles and mud but the band of Kevlar protection running around the tyre will help reduce the incidence of punctures.
Efficient Gears
To enhance the riding experience, we have also upgraded the drivetrain on the Hellcat, moving from a triple chainset to a 2x (2 by).
One less cog at the front means less weight and less maintenance but also makes changing gears more intuitive as fewer choices help you get the one you want quicker… and don’t worry about the range of gears.
The Hellcat now comes with a bigger 8-speed cassette at the back wheel, so you’ve still got those important choices at the top and bottom end of the range. Sometimes, less is definitely more!
