Frame & Fork
Benefiting from wind tunnel-tested development, the SLR frame has been refined using the same aerodynamic principles that influence the bikes ridden across the roads and mountains of a Grand Tour.
Fitted with SRAM's Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH), hidden mounts for for full length guards and multiple bottle mounts, the SLR 9.0 is ready for sunny day stages as well as winter training rides.
Groupset
Equipped with Shimano's highly regarded 105 R7170 12-speed groupset, the SLR 9.0 delivers smooth, dependable shifting that helps you turn your local loop into its own stage.
The 11-34t cassette paired with a compact chainset gives you the range to spin comfortably on a long climb, increase the pace on rolling roads, or dig deep to chase the finish line, the wide gear range helps you stay in an efficient rhythm.
Wheels & Tyres
The SLR 9.0 rolls on a lightweight, 24mm wide profile alloy wheelset, 26mm profiled tubeless ready rims with 12mm through-axle hubs, low-resistance sealed bearings, and double-butted spokes, optimised for wider road tyres. In the peloton, every gram counts on a summit finish, and the same principle applies here. Reduced rotational weight means more effort translates directly into forward momentum, felt most keenly when the road tilts upward.
The Goodyear Eagle tubeless-compatible tyre completes the package, delivering race-inspired grip and excellent puncture protection across all conditions, in either tube-type or tubeless-ready configuration.
Finishing Kit
Grand Tour riders know that comfort over distance is as important as outright speed, and the SLR 9.0's finishing kit reflects that. The Prologo Scratch M5 saddle has been chosen for its versatile shape and ergonomics; its rounded profile encourages natural pelvic rotation, distributing pressure more evenly across long stages in the saddle.
Paired to the frame is a D-shaped Boardman aero carbon seatpost, the same profile found on the pro-level SLR 9.8. It improves compliance over a conventional round alloy post while delivering meaningful weight and aerodynamic gains; details that add up over a long day on the road.
