Frame & Suspension
The Crossride e450 Touring uses an Al-6061 T6 aluminium frame with custom tubing and smooth weld construction, built to handle the everyday demands of e-bike commuting and touring reliably. Rock Machine's Fun Ride Geometry positions riders in a comfortable, upright stance that reduces fatigue over longer distances, and inner cable routing keeps the frame clean while shielding cables from the weather. The RST Vivaire fork provides 80mm of suspension travel — well suited to the bike's tarmac and gravel remit — softening road vibration and surface irregularities to keep the ride smooth and the rider comfortable throughout the day.
Electric Capability & Drivetrain
The Sport Drive MD250S mid-drive delivers 70Nm of continuous torque, peaking at 90Nm, with its central motor position keeping the bike balanced and handling naturally even with luggage aboard. The 500Wh downtube battery supports up to 90km of practical range, and the colour display with USB port provides clear ride information alongside a useful charging point for devices on longer trips. The microSHIFT Acolyte 1x8 drivetrain pairs a 42T chainring with a 12–42T cassette for a 350% gear range — broad enough for steep loaded climbs and efficient flat riding, with a simplified single-chainring setup that keeps day-to-day maintenance minimal.
Braking & Everyday Features
Alhonga HJ-OD07 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors at both ends provide strong, consistent stopping power whatever the weather, giving confidence when riding fully loaded. WTB Riddler Comp 29×1.75-inch tyres on WTB SX19 double-wall rims offer a fast-rolling, efficient profile across tarmac and packed gravel, with reflective stripes for low-light visibility. The complete city setup — AXA Blueline 30 front light, Spanninga Pling XE rear light, alloy full-cover mudguards, AVS-compatible alloy carrier, ATRAN VELO kickstand, and AXA Atlas frame lock — is all fitted as standard, making the Crossride e450 Touring ready to ride from day one.
