How Does No Puncture Hassle Tubeless Sealant Work?
No Puncture Hassle combines an advanced latex formula with cutting-edge molecules designed to seal punctures quickly. The molecules help fill larger holes and tears, while the latex forms a strong seal instantly. The sealant forms a thin, even layer inside the tyre and won't ball up, helping it remain inside the tyre without the need for regular cleaning. Always give the pouch or bottle a good shake before use to mix any sealing particles that may have settled during storage.
How much tubeless sealant do I need?
The amount of MTB tubeless sealant required depends on your tyre size and type. Use the guide below as a starting point:
MTB 26" & 27" = 60–75ml
Cross 700c = 60–75ml
MTB 29" = 105–140ml
Downhill = 120–140ml
The Muc-Off pouches and boxes also include handy fill lines for different tyre sizes.
MTB Tubeless Sealant FAQs
Why does my MTB tubeless sealant look different than usual?
Don't panic – you've got our new and improved MTB Tubeless Sealant formula. You'll spot it by the Bamboo Fibres and Natural Mineral Flakes callouts on the label. Inspired by our proven Road & Gravel formula, it's designed to seal punctures even faster. The new formula is grey-blue in colour and less viscous than the old pink version. Give it a good shake before use to mix in any sealing particles that may have settled during storage. Switching from the old formula? We recommend rinsing out your tyres first to get maximum sealing performance from the new sealant.
What temperatures does No Puncture Hassle work between?
No Puncture Hassle works between -20°C and +50°C.
Can I mix No Puncture Hassle with other sealants?
No. We always recommend washing out any sealant used previously before installing No Puncture Hassle for the best sealing performance and longevity.
Can I use No Puncture Hassle on non-tubeless tyres?
No. We recommend using Inner Tube Sealant instead for non-tubeless setups.
How often do I need to replace No Puncture Hassle Tubeless Sealant?
No Puncture Hassle has been designed to be left inside the tyre for the life of the tyre. If and when it eventually dries out, which can be up to 6 months in temperate climates, simply top up and keep riding. The sealant forms a thin, even layer inside the tyre and doesn't ball up, so you don't need to clean it out. The water-soluble formula also washes off with just water.
How do I clean No Puncture Hassle off my kit?
Unfortunately, it seems that all tyre sealants can stain. If No Puncture Hassle sprays onto your kit out on the trail, try to rinse the affected area straight away with clean water from your bottle and wipe it off as soon as possible with a damp cloth.
Key Tip: Try not to let the sealant dry before you can wash your kit properly at home.
When you're home, rinse again with clean water. Use a pre-wash product, checking that the fabric is compatible first, before cleaning your kit in the washing machine with a good laundry detergent. Alternatively, you can hand wash with a good liquid cleaner as quickly as possible. Always follow the manufacturer's washing instructions.
What is the shelf life of No Puncture Hassle Tubeless Sealant?
As long as you store the sealant in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, with the cap tightened, our sealant will not expire. We always recommend giving the pouch or bottle a good shake before each use.
