Simply prepare the vehicle's exhaust by removing any loose paint and rust before fitting your exhaust trim, and loosen the clamping bolts sufficiently, so the trim can slip over the exhaust. Slightly tighten the clamping bolts to allow enough movement to level the trim before completely tightening, and once level, fully tighten the clamping bolts. Periodically check the clamping bolts to ensure the trim is secure.
