Halfords Fade Out Thinner 400ml

Use on clear lacquers and solid colours, not suitable for use on metallic or pearlesecent paints tat have not been overcoated with a clear lacquer

Refer to the icons for quick instructions, working temperature, time between coats, drying times etc.

For best results ensure the can is at room temperature before use.

Avoid spraying in direct sunshine, cold, damp, humid or windy weather.

Recommended ambient temperature whilst painting +15° to + 25°C.

After use, turn the can upside down and spray for around 3-5 seconds to clear the nozzle and prevent blockages when used next.

Ensure you read the complete instructions and familiarise yourself with each step.

Ensure you have all consumables needed to hand before starting the repair.

Instructions for use

Ensure the painted surface is touch dry and tack free. shake the can and spray with the can approximately 25cm (10 ins.) from the surface using a smooth side to side motion. Use sparingly, only apply sufficient Fade Out Thinner to

fully wet the paint surface. Allow the Fade Out Thinner to dry, as it does so, it will smooth out the imperfections in the paint.

Before reassembly, polishing, washing, or using the vehicle allow the paint to completely harden.

CAUTIONS:

Do not apply too much Fade Out Thinner as it will cause run marks.

Do not use on metallic or pearlescent paints which have not been oversprayed with a clear lacquer.

*The drying time can change depending on the ambient temperature, humidity and the thickness of the coats applied. Ensure the paint is fully dry before moving onto the next stage.

Take care when preparing older paint surfaces (Pre 1970) as these may contain harmful Lead.

Ensure ventilation is adequate in the area you are painting in to prevent harmful build-up of solvent gasses."
