Halfords Fluorescent Paint Yellow 400ml
The Halfords Fluorescent Paint Yellow 400mlis the perfect way to liven up your vehicle, or any other suitable surface. It adds a bright fluorescent effect that’s sure to turn heads. This fluorescent yellow paint can be used on steel, aluminium, fibreglass, fillers, and existing paintwork to bring a cool new look to your vehicle. Or it can also be used on most well-prepared wood, stone pottery, and plastic surfaces (if you’re using a suitable primer too). To achieve a proper fluorescent finish that lasts, you should always use a WHITE primer before painting, and a LACQUER to provide protection against UV fading.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
• To prevent accidental spraying, there’s a safety ring fitted to the can.
• Remove the nozzle and use a blunt screwdriver to remove this safety ring, ensuring you don’t damage the metal valve.
• Face the spray head away from you and replace the nozzle. (CAUTION: Paint may spray out of the nozzle when you do this)
The icons on the side of the can give you quick instructions on things like working temperature and drying times.
For best results, make sure the can is at room temperature before using it. Avoid spraying in direct sunshine, cold, damp, humid or windy weather. The recommended ambient temperature whilst painting is anywhere between +10° to +25°C.
After use, turn the can upside down and spray for around 3-5 seconds to clear the nozzle and prevent any blockages when you use it next.
Ensure you read the complete instructions and familiarise yourself with each step, and make sure you have all consumables you need to hand before you start to paint.
CAUTIONS:
*The drying time can change depending on the ambient temperature, humidity and the thickness of the coats applied. Ensure the paint is fully dry before moving onto the next stage.
Take care when preparing older paint surfaces (pre-1970) as these may contain harmful lead.
Make sure you have enough ventilation in the area you’re painting in to prevent a harmful build-up of solvent gasses.
