Take one of our electric bikes for a free 48 hour test ride at one of our thirty-four 48 hour electric bike trial stores. Simply book a short phone consultation with one of our expert colleagues, who will be able to book you in for your FREE 48 hour trial and recommend the right bike for you.
Demo one of our electric mountain bikes or hybrid bikes for 30 minutes around your local store or book a 48 hour test ride to experience the full benefit of an assisted bike.
How It Works
30 Minute Demo
Simply pop into your local Halfords store and find an eBike that suits your lifestyle needs. Once you’ve found your perfect bike simply speak to one of our friendly experts who will talk you through how to use an electric bike and some of the great feature.
Once your ready to go simply pop on your safety gear and take one of the range for a spin around your local bike store. No need to book ahead although stock levels can vary between each store.
48 Hour Bike Trial
Our 48-Hour trial is aimed to give you the best chance to try out any of our bikes over a 48-hour period. You’ll have the opportunity to test ride some of the best eBikes in the UK such as the Carrera Crosscity which is suitable for both Men and Women.
To book your eBike demo all you have to do:
- Book an online eBike demo at your local store
- Find the nearest Halfords store which offers a 48-hour demo
- Book your online appointment and await a call from our expert colleagues
- Collect your electric bike from your selected store (Don’t forget to bring a valid debit or credit card and passport or driving licence)
- Enjoy your electric bike trial
- Return your eBike at your local store

Please Note
Our test rides are discretionary and we reserve the right to refuse a test ride for any reason without liability. To help ensure your safety, we can't allow test rides to be taken in the dark or in adverse weather conditions, and the bikes must be ridden outside and not anywhere inside the store.
